KIDS EARTH FUND is an international non-profit organization that uses children's art as a medium to assist children around the world by promoting education, peaceful co-existence and environmental conservation. KEF provides children with monety and non-monetary support which includes medical supplies, clothing and art and educational supplies as well as psychological care in order to promote their total well-being. Our eight KIDS EARTH HOMES, support centers staffed with professionals and colunteers located throughout Asia and eastern Europe, provide medical treatment, education, food, housing, art therapy and psychological counseling to children in need. Additionally, we conduct numerous workshops that are designed to encourage children to creatively visualize their ideal worlds as well as encouraging them to workcooperatively through partivipation in group activities.
“Kids Helping Kids” is the philosophy and cornerstone of our organization. KEF collects children’s artwork that expresses a global vision of peace and environmental care. Children donate their artwork to KEF, and with the assistance of corporate sponsorship, we create products using the artwork, such as greeting cards, calendars, mugs and merchandise packaging. The artwork is also exhibited and sold to help raise funds to assist other children. All proceeds are used by KEF to communicate our message of peace and conservation throughout the world. Thus, through KEF, kids around the world are helping each other.
