DAY 3, We held an art workshop with 40 children in Utsukushigaoka Kindergarten. They were focused in drawing and many great art works are completed. We also enjoyed chatting with them.
Children in evacuation centers and staying in relative and acquaintance’s houses gathered in Atsuma town sports center and held an art workshop. Children drew Hokkaido marked with red cross that points the epicenter of earthquake. DAY 2: Atsuma town is located close to epicenter of Hokkaido earthquake. Magnitude 7 earthquake has caused landslide in many areas. 36 people have been victim of unfortunate disaster. 826 people are currently in evacuation centers. Atsuma town was affected by Magnitude 4 earthquake last night as well.

Many children in the hospital joined the painting workshop this time. Some children who had difficulties to move around enjoyed painting on their beds. Putting paint color on their hands and feeling the coldness of the paint itself were exciting for them.

Monthly drawing workshop was held at Kanagawa Children’s Medical Center. While waiting for the appointment time with doctors, children enjoyed drawing sea in Yokohama, the sun and many fruits such as bananas and grapes. Collidor glass is now completed with many summer themed drawing.
At special lunch organized by Bvlgari Tokyo Osaka Restaurants, children were amazed with artistically beautiful lunch and also mesmerized by the performance by the world champion POP dancer, Mr. KITE. Medical Dr. Masahiro Kitakawa cooperated and attended this special lunch too. They enjoyed drawing workshop with a big rolled paper as a precious experience.
